If Man tries to Do His Best,
GOD Will always Give
My beloved! The SAVIOUR said: „Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you! If you greet the one who greets you, what do you more? The heathens also do this!“ The more difficulties you have to give a token of love, the greater the deed is. But you are able to do so because you know that you give it to the SAVIOUR. „Amen I say to you, as long as you did it for one of these, the least of my brethren, you did it for me.“ (Matt 25,40)
Love of neighbour should always be such that it never oppresses the other. It is not true love of neighbour if I do good to the other the way I think it is right, but that it is agreeable to the other. „Let every one of you please his neighbour unto good, to edification.“ (Rom 15,2)
Speech Is silver, Silence Is golden
„When you talk, your speech must be better than your silence would be!“ People talk and talk emptying themselves or repeating themselves many times, not merely at an advanced age because of their short memories. A phone has got an ear-piece and a mouthpiece – in order to hear and to speak. Whoever does not give other people a chance to speak, is mostly an uninterested listener, who actually never or seldom contemplates things and rarely thinks them over in silence. It is the same towards GOD. If you only talk away to Him and do not listen to Him, how will He reveal to you what He wants from you? When you talk with GOD or with the Mother of GOD, be silent for a while afterwards, considering it, listening inwardly in your heart. GOD has indeed made a wonderful present to every human being, be he/she endowed or not with special graces: imagination. He can revive and stimulate your imagination. Remain in silence for some minutes every day, in a church, in nature or at home, think about GOD, look at Him. I can tell you, you will go away from there filled up and satisfied.
GOD Gives Peace
GOD will always give, if you try to do your best. Did the SAVIOUR not say every time He came to people: „Peace be with you! Peace be with this house!“ In every Holy Sacrifice of the Mass it is so important to me, and it comes from the bottom of my heart, to say: „Peace be with and among you!“ I do not mean my peace, but GOD’s peace. As a bishop I can pass on His peace, GOD’s peace. Your heart must be open to it and grace finds its way into your heart. If it is not so, there seems to be some stubbornness, some blockage within you. There exists a marvellous means for purification – the holy Confession. I am unable to explain how most profoundly touched and delighted I am when someone brings order into his life and tries to love GOD and to please Him. Amen!
